Iran – China Massive 25-Year Deal | It’s too late for west to rethink their policies!

Today, one of the biggest deals in the history of both China and Iran is signed. The details of deal has not published yet. The significant point is about the reaction of Media’s in East and West. In general, western media’s mostly criticized the deal for China’s great influence in Iran and the middle east region. They also link the deal with Iran’s reaction about U.S. sanctions.

Isn’t it too late?

For long years (since 2017, when D. Trump step out of JCPOA), Iranians are suffering hardly from the effects of sanctions and European countries, EU and Germany on top couldn’t make effective actions toward continuing their commercial cooperation’s with Iran in these years. It was truly oblivious Europe is strictly obeying the policies that set by U.S.

Iran officials waited for long time to recover the JCPOA with European partners, but Iranians were the main part whom take the biggest effect. High inflation, increase in the exchange rates, very limited access to international markets, Zero availably of bank transaction with international banks, and etc. part of those problems happen to Iranians that can be named as a massive disaster.

Having access to an untapped market, in the absence of other key players China took the opportunity and signed the deal.

I can’t say a big loss for Europeans, but that wouldn’t be fruitful for any of western countries.

Interestingly, most of Western new agencies have reacted to this big deal instantly, but that would be a little bit late.

  • Newyorktimes :

One of the earliest news agencies reacted to this agreement was NYT, it includes the general information on contents of the deal while it concludes the deal was made in response to U.S. policies toward Iran during last years.

  • Forbes :

The report points out the weaknesses of Iran regime and China’s tendency for great effect in the region.

“The giant deal with Iran would increase Chinese investments in Iranian banking, telecommunications, and transportation infrastructure including airports, railways and free trade zones (FTZs). China is also eyeing a central role in Iran’s cyber space with the country offering “greater control over what circulates.” The prospective agreement also extends a number of potential defense cooperation projects and underscores increased intelligence sharing. “
